    1. Deep fry them too, I’ve had deep fried pierogi in Bieszczady one time. Lovely stuff honestly

    2. I don’t have an air fryer, but pierogi fried on the pan are always awesome in their taste.

    3. Tried airfrying Ruthenian ones. Weren’t disappointed, but wouldn’t call it a life changer, considering that boiling or pan frying them doesn’t take that much more effort. I guess it’s a good alternative if you want them fried, but are avoiding extra fats.

    4. Lol you thought you were being innovative, but really just drying out pierogies

    5. Oby pójście do piekła było tego warte. Skusiłeś mnie, przebiegły diable.

Polan sees air fried pierog: *seethes*

Polan sees strawberries in makaron: perfectly natural.

    7. Some time ago I took baked pierogi to work. If you’re really lazy, it’s a fantastic lunch idea

If we like them in America, that’s probably a red flag for you all. No?

No, just no. You can boil them, then fry with onions for flavor. Pierogy fried raw will be dry to the extent of inedibility. If you really want to up your pierogy, try steaming them in rice cooker.

    10. Well technically in some regions they are called „piecuchy“ instead of „pierogi“. But you should use different dough.

Pro tip baked (airfryer is an oven) pierogi are better with different dough like shortcrust or yeast

Blehhh no, no and no….I once threw it into the air fryer out of curiosity… and I end up with some dried-out crap that’s not even a pierogi anymore to me.

You’re supposed to boil them in water. You have dishonored your bloodline.
