We’ve advanced a lot in that area.

The air on Everest is very thin but so is the air on Mars – and we built a helicopter „Ingenuity“ that flew there.

It was wildly successful too: *Originally intended to make only five flights, Ingenuity completed 72 flights in nearly three years*

This is what the world has been clamoring for! What a time to be alive!

Building a helicopter to fly at that altitude is certainly achievable. A modified Eurocopter AS350B2 even flew up to 12,954 meters (42,500 feet) which is significantly higher than the peak of Everest.

What’s significantly harder is building a helicopter that can hover and perform any complex maneuvering at that altitude. This is because helicopters produce more lift when moving forward than they do when hovering.

Want to do helicopter rescues at the summit of Everest? Building a helicopter that could do that would be extremely difficult to do.

Waiting for Elon to claim he is the best person to do this because he can do the helicopter with his perpetually flaccid cock.

  5. In 1972, fifty four years ago, a helicopter flew over 40,000 feet. Mt Everest is 29,000 feet high.

First get the helicopter to help out in providing Healthcare to remote areas of the country – don’t you know what your priorities are? Who will educate this guy?

Sounds like a disaster in the making. There’s already enough human waste and corpses on the route to Mt. Everest’s summit. Do we really need to risk adding helicopter wreckage and other hazardous materials to the mix, as well?

I guess mt everest is just used as an example. The real purpose is Siachen and other high mountains where India is continuously engaged in battle with the Pakistani army and its proxies.
