      The Norwegian Nobel Institute has responded to Donald Trump’s extended tantrum about not receiving a Nobel Peace Prize.

      Director Kristian Berg Harpviken has increased transparency around the selection process to defend against accusations of bias leveled at it by Trump and his supporters.

      “The strategy for clearing the air is simply to talk about it,” Kristian Berg Harpviken said. While declining to mention Trump by name, referring to him only as “the candidate in question,” he explained the strategy, aimed at ensuring the masses understand the institute’s work.

      “We see it as important that as many people as possible understand how it is that we work and what the principles are,“ Harpviken told the Atlantic. „Whether those lobbying for the prize are receptive to that or not is really beyond our control.“

      Harpviken added that „we haven’t had the embassy or officials knocking on our doors“ when it comes to attempts to sway the committee. „Nothing like that.“ He added that they will not be influenced either way. „A candidate who is aggressively campaigning for him or herself will neither be penalized nor privileged. We are very conscious about that.“

      Everything he did prior to being president revolves around Epstein. Even taking over the Miss America contest as a recruitment tool

      The soviet government did NOT want Pasternak to win the literature award in 1958. It wouldn’t surprise me if they made that fact known. They used internal pressure on him to force the issue. We’re told now the CIA had a hand in the publication in the west. Still great writing.

      The same with Solzhenitsyn in 1970. Not wanted by the government.

      One might think that aggressively campaigning for a peace prize would be fairly clearcut disqualification criteria.

      At this point, even if Trump got it through legit achievements there’ll be suspicions the Institute caved due to this whining.

      I would image that since TFG accepted Ms Machado’s gifted Nobel, against the Nobel rules, it will be the coldest day on record in Norway before they ever consider him eligible.
