If it hadn’t been so split(geographically), the proposal would’ve been reasonable, since 98% of the land they claimed was majorly German speaking and actively wanted to stay as part of Austria.
There are a few controversial claims I’d say, especially in northern Slovenia, where Germans only made a minority in the rural regions, and only the cities and towns were majorly German.
