      In return Canada have announced they are immediately and permanently banning ice hockey, since apparently this is why China is really after according to top minds in the U.S. government.

      China is big..huge. But it’s not heartless, and maybe with a little western alignment will soften the worst of both cultures. A china that outgrows its memories of the century of humiliation will be a world beacon, its best to partner than to endless point fingers. There are dangers for sure, but the common good is too attractive to ignore. This partnership feels far more hopeful than the bag of crazy that the USA represents. We’ve all know this for too long, the USA needs a rest.

      Fun fact: China is the only country Canadian senior delegates visit that part of the security process is taking and using a burner phone.

      Wow well I guess we’ve come a long way from China taking two Canadian citizens hostage (the “Two Michaels”) for 3 years (2018-2021).
