Is this map correct? If so it is really surprising the basically the only country in central Europe that hardly had any Jews at all became the one where antisemitism took such a dramatic form.

Around 1900, only 4% of Berlin’s population was Jewish. It was certainly not over 25%.

But one thing is certain: since 1949, when the last Jews in the DP holding areas (located on former Nazi death and slave labour „camps) finally were allowed to leave, there would not be a speck of colour anywhere on a similar map.
