Pennsylvania justa buncha pretzel munchin’ fools.
we’re #1 dickheads

Damn Amish and their pretzel loving ways.
Also pretzels are awesome.
Does this include Bratzels? You know a brat in a pretzel
This tracks. Just moved away from PA and pretzel consumption is down 🙁
My Pop is from Philly, but now lives in Canada. Pretty sure that stat went down a single point when he moved outta state – dude eats pretzels like they fuckin made of the most important vitamins and minerals for daily livin
My PA-raised son says that although he loves Washington State, one downside here is that you can’t get a decent soft pretzel.

Is there a significant proportion of descendants of Germans in Pennsylvania, or what is the reason for this?
These numbers seem a little too uniform to be accurate. We have five at 0.5, five at 4.0, PA at 12.0, and the rest are at 2.0? Even though the numbers go to the tenths (or more likely halves), only the lowest five states use that place? I know OP listed where they got the data, but I’d love to see actual numbers.
Also, does this include frozen Super Pretzels sold in stores, or just pretzels from a vendor or restaurant?
This tracks. People in philly really really like their philly style soft pretzels.
Oddly, the town claiming the title of „Pretzel City USA“ is in Illinois, not Pennsylvania.
