    1. He will forever be weird for that psychotic charcuterie board stunt mocking Amy Winehouse’s death

    2. stryker_cast on

NPH is a massive disappointment for this, besides his cruelty to Amy Winehouse’s death.

You are gay, married, and you have children. There are people who think you should have none of those things, and be killed as well.

Used to like the guy but after I found out about the Amy Winehouse thing, this guy is a fucking douchbag ghoul.

Reddit getting upset because they think celebrities will save the day

Sometimes I’m glad AI is going run rampant through entertainment industry

Remember this when the next headline you see where celebrity says this. They get asked all kinds of stupid and vane questions.

    7. He might get involved when he or his loved ones are affected by current politics, even if he is apolitical 🧐🙄

    8. A_Polite_Noise on

Comments here are wild; because the dude wants to promote his film for his job and not get dragged into a political thing everyone is calling him dumb, acting like he’s on the wrong side of something, suggesting him being gay means he’s obligated to answer every time someone asks him about politics, that him saying he likes apolitical things means he’s 100% apolitical, just generally hating on him.

Purity tests, eating each other over minor things, shit like this is just not the right way to approach these things. Acting like he’s required to always jump into the debate and if he doesn’t dismissing, attacking, and insulting him is nonsense.

    9. No one cares what you’re interested in Neil. Shutup if you’re not gonna be helpful.

      This place is hilarious.

“I’m so disappointed the millionaire who’s good at playing make believe on tv doesn’t voice an opinion on politics!”

People don’t have to join in if they are not comfortable to do so. People frothing at the mouth because he’s not vocal need to simmer down. Not everyone has a political voice. Some people avoid it all of their lives and that should be their prerogative.

Pretty crazy the difference in response to when Michelle yeoh did essentially the same thing.

Redditors will never be able to talk about celebrities without sounding like middle school mean girls it’s actually crazy

    13. Impossible-Animator6 on

FYI Berlin Film festival has specifically asked celebrities to either stop commenting on politics or skip the event altogether. NPH & Yeoh made the obvious choice.

    14. I have hated this wannabe ever since he thought he could become…Hedwig…

Even if he said the “Trump bad” lines you wanted him to, what does it actually change or do? Do you think some Republican would hear that and think “Doogie Howser thinks Trump is bad. I really need to reevaluate my entire life.” Celebrities don’t have the pull you or even they think they do. If they did, Kamala would be sitting behind the resolute desk. Or would you rather him be like Giancarlo Esposito and tell you to go die for his benefit?

Why is anyone asking Neil Patrick Harris political questions these actors have nothing to do with that shit lmao

      Tl;dr

Speaking from a place of massive privilege, the multimillionaires said “we’d prefer to ignore those who are struggling and focus on how we can continue to live our lives in joyous obliviousness”

    18. probablymagic on

People butthurt by this in the comments are exactly why it’s the right call. We need more art about the human condition. Not everyone needs to affirm your politics just because you’ve made it your whole identity.

      Celebrities truly cannot win.

Talk about politics, and not only are their words picked apart, but about half the population disagrees and thinks they’re some shade of dumb or evil.

Don’t talk about politics, and they get called cowards and mocked for their privilege.

Personally, I’m over it. If somebody feels moved to talk about politics, cool — I may agree, I may not. If they don’t want to, also cool — I appreciate that they’re staying in their lane rather than getting a publicist to write some nonsense.

EVERYTHING is political right now, especially for Americans. Trying to deny that fact helps no one & it makes Harris seem like he’s got his head buried in the sand. Once ICE has abducted all the immigrants, they’ll be coming for the gays

    21. Is he protecting the production? Is he protecting his personal brand? Is he protecting his career? Doesn’t matter; still a coward.

    22. Interesting_Block886 on

Big win for NPH, of course, now all these fucking losers on this website will start hating him, but that only proves he’s right
