      Steve Bannon, a former White House adviser to US President Donald Trump, discussed opposition strategies with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein against Pope Francis, with Bannon saying he hoped to “take down” the pontiff, according to newly released files from the US Department of Justice.

      Messages sent between the pair in 2019, released in the massive document dump last month, reveal Bannon courted the late financier in his attempts to undermine the former pontiff after leaving the first Trump administration.

      Bannon had been highly critical of Francis whom he saw as an opponent to his “sovereigntist” vision, a brand of nationalist populism which swept through Europe in 2018 and 2019.       “Will take down (Pope) Francis,” Bannon wrote to Epstein in June 2019. “The Clintons, Xi, Francis, EU – come on brother.”

      Remembering when I’d been reading the *Bloomberg* bio-piece way back in 2015-’16 that described Bannon as the „Most Dangerous Political Operative“ in the U.S.

      Lord Above, the guy is behind or in room, ala Forrest Gump, in just about every case where a true, real-life, James Bond-type SMERSH/SPECTRE-level bastard is really needed. …You just look, and there he is. Chillin‘, as they say, like a villain, sowing discord, positioning the minions, dropping dope in the punch bowl.

      The truly staggering thing is that beyond Bernie and AOC (maybe with a 1/2-dozen others), the Dems just don’t have anything to track or counter him, the billionaire broligarchs. and the other nefarious, dark-side, bad actors. …The Republic, as we’ve known it, is literally being shutdown (and I mean literally), and instead of a resistance, the concentration camps are springing-up, a 2nd aircraft carrier is steaming to the Middle East, the DOGE decapitation strike’s results on the economy are only now being registered, and the streets of many major (mostly Blue, of course), cities are being occupied by unaccountable, *masked*, goon-squads.

      And here we are, with the chuckle-heads chuckling, the golf courses full, and the yacht club taking the plunderers and pillagers to their (Bond-ian) bunkers while we are subjugated. The 2026 „Winter of Woe“ is one for the ages.

      Epstein was a master manipulator. He wasn’t a true believer in anything but money, sex, and power. With most men, his manipulation involved sex. With Bannon, it involved listening to his moronic ramblings and spitballing ideas about taking down the Pope. All in a day’s work I guess.

      After the government weeds through all the files and destroys all these disgusting people’s lives because of email correspondence and what not.

      Can they please focus on the pedophiles who are grooming “the girls” and human trafficking them for decades? These people have compiled a detailed list of the criminals and victims since 2019.

      Considering JD Vance’s support for Project 2025 and it’s creators such as Steve Bannon, it wouldn’t surprise me if, aside from adding to the Pope’s stress, that Vance did something to finish the Pope off sooner.

      The part of the Epstein files involving sex crimes is bad enough. The part of the files where these rich and powerful fuckin psychos planned a political takeover of our country and intentionally tried to divide us is the fundamentally more important story.

      Decent working people must coalesce and demand justice.
