As a coach of a u13 hockey team the very first rule I implemented was that if I even see a cell phone let alone see someone using it that I will be confiscating it and having a chat with them and their parents and if it happens again they are off the team. I’ve only had to have one chat with a parent because they forgot to put it in their pockets and I seen it on the bench beside them.
I shoot for a jr hockey team in the Ldn area, first rule is no cameras in the dressing room, ever. No exceptions.
I believe most teams have similar rules. Someone screw up.
It’s a strict hockey Canada rule – no cell phones in the dressing room – for anyone – including coaches and parents, ‘just for music’ or otherwise.
If videos of naked kids ended up online, shouldn’t there be a criminal investigation?
Our girls team tried a phone ban and in the end the girls won- they take silly pictures between periods and they’re fun and responsible.
These boys were very stupid and irresponsible clearly.
Very stupid they’ll learn thier lesson
There is no reason for a 13-year-old to have a smart phone. This is one of many very good reasons not to let them have one.
Why is London always in the news for all the wrong reasons?
