Made this because I was getting annoyed by all the reposts of the same outdated map

Can’t wait to see a definitely civil comment section when I come back!

  2. Funny enough I saw way more Chinese/Korean language signs in Hokkaido than Vietnamese

The Brazilian ones are probably Japanese origin people with Brazilian citizenship.

Make sense. Vietnamese are South East Asians with lighter skin so easier to blend in

The vast majority of Vietnamese, Nepali residents are guess workers hired in five years contracts. Not sure how many of them would choose to settle in Japan, because Japan’s immigration laws are very strict. Prior 2012 there were only 30~50,000 Vietnamese living Japan, some arrived in the country as early as 1910s.

Also, the majority of Vietnamese guess workers were mostly hired from three provinces that are often known as the gang region in vietnam.

  6. Though “South Korea” is mostly Zainichi Koreans, and they don’t necessarily have South Korean nationality.
