    1. Is it just too simplistic to say the government could allocate another 70 million to pay for the museum?

What about all the carbon taxes why cant they be used to pay for flood defenses is that not why we are paying them to protect us from climate change?

Considering the office of public works somehow has several thousand employees, despite outsourcing all their work to the private sector at well over budget prices, I’d say we can divert money from this public body to flood defence!

    4. If only we had some big corporations that would setup shop here and pay a lot of taxes

    5. We need people not to get flooded not a children’s science centre. We could do with the Trinity Science Gallery back.

    11. They can learn about the effects of mismanagement of flooding fund, lack of maintenance and poor planning that causes flooding in our towns and cities. Then they will drive it as adults in 20 years time

Look at this, our government is fixing the flooding, only a 30 year wait, thanks lads and ladies

    12. Don’t we spend millions a year subsiding dog and horse tracks? Maybe we can take it from that? Or maybe the
