      The one Republican who even bothered to file didn’t collect enough petitions and seemingly switched over to running in the 53 state house district. Given he used AI slop in his most recent ad and was a hardcore soc-con, good riddance. That leaves, at most, three Senate candidates-incumbent Ben Ray Lujan of the Democrat Party, his underdog primary opponent, veteran, and democratic socialist Matt Dodson, and „Jewish/Christian National Party“ candidate Toby Smith (who put his address down as Walter White’s house and might be DQ’ed due to that). I *think* write-ins aren’t allowed or are hard to register, so Lujan has little to worry about on that front to.

      Once the Republican threat has been eliminated, then we can try to actually get political parties that represent Americans

      As a NM resident the GOP is basically cooked after Bush in this state. Albuquerque and Las Cruces are so solidly blue while the rest of the state is pretty purple. I just wish our Dems weren’t scared of the Oil and Gas Companies.

      Whoever runs as a Republican at this point is incredibly stupid, a pedophile, or both, but it turns out that has always been the case anyway.

      While this is a very good thing. Don’t think of it as a situation where you shouldn’t be voting.

      The handful of progressives in Congress need more help. Especially in the Senate.

      Vote for the best Democrat don’t let anyone just slip in.

      I believe in representation for all, but they just couldn’t get the signatures so it’s their own fault. 🤷
