    >Attorney General Pam Bondi for the first time acknowledged the existence of a secret list of domestic terrorist organizations during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday.

    >“I know Antifa is part of that,” Bondi said under questioning about the list from Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, D-Pa., the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government. Bondi refused to offer any further details about the “domestic terrorist organization” database being compiled under President Donald Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, or NSPM-7.

    >“The goal was to get her – even by denying that she would produce it – to acknowledge that it existed and then raise the alarm,” Scanlon told The Intercept.

    >The Justice Department had previously refused to acknowledge the list to The Intercept, despite being asked scores of questions about it over a period of months.

    >NSPM-7, which conflates constitutionally protected speech and political activism with “domestic terrorism” — a term that has no basis in U.S. law – specifically targets those that espouse what the administration defines as anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, anti-Christianity, anti-fascism, and radical gender ideologies, as well as those with “hostility toward those who hold traditional American views.”

There has not been anything secret about it…they constantly yell about this list

  3. I’m sure it’s a total convinced coincidence that they are trying to build huge detention centers across the country and that the president has said he plans to go after the home growns.

  4. The real question is: what’s the criteria? If the DOJ can just label anyone a „domestic terrorist“ without due process, we aren’t living in a republic anymore. This should be the biggest story in the country but it’ll be buried by tomorrow’s news cycle.

I know it isn’t the point, but it is bugging me. This isn’t a scoop. She said it on live TV, not to one of their reporters. The Intercept didn’t have the news first.

Just in case I wasn’t already on their little list, here we go:

Anti-Americanism: America sucks in a lot of ways. I’m anti-American imperialism and anti-American ignorance, just to name 2 examples.

Anti-capitalism: We worship money like it’s a God, and that’s pathetic and wrong. So much of our pain is caused by unfettered capitalism our idiotic mistake of redefining greed as a virtue.

Anti-Christianity: Born and raised Roman Catholic, I quit the church when I was a teenager and never looked back. There is no god, Jesus was just a man (if he even existed), and the only experiences we’ll ever have are when we’re alive on this planet, not afterwards.

Anti-fascism: Fuck all Nazis, Fascists, and authoritarians. They’re pieces of shit. Garbage humans.

„Radical“ gender ideology: Gender is, in many ways, a social construct. Trans people exist and are pretty cool actually.

Hostility toward those who hold traditional American views: „Traditional American views“ includes misogyny, racism, white supremacy, greed, and violent imperialism, all of which I’m very hostile towards.

Which journalist will be today’s Daniel Schorr and read their own name?

  8. Just call it what it is, an enemies list. It’s anyone that opposes their white Christian nationalist agenda

  9. I hope Bondi’s domestic terrorist list includes every damn member of ICE — and, in fact, every member of this abhorrent administration.

You mean the ICE agent who was classifying peaceful protestors as terrorists was making a secret list classifying people as terrorists? I’m shocked I tell you! Shocked. My flabbers are very ghasted.

    So let us see.

We have plans to build and deploy huge detention cities, complete with biohazard furnaces.

We have a government telling it’s freshly funded and poorly trained army of thugs to “go get the bad guys, they’re really bad. Like terrorists”

Are you beginning to see any parallels to the rise of nazi germany? If you can’t, I promise you this: they weren’t telling brownshirts to round up innocent people. They were telling them to round up these nasty, disease ridden criminals.

Do you see it yet? And what about the Epstein files? We all want those in the super wealthy child rape ring to get locked up. They haven’t even been named. DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT MIGHT BE CORRUPT?

Open your eyes, hombre. See it.

Imagine trying to find out who is against fascism and detaining them and saying they are terrorists. It’s almost like something a fascist would do.

Weird how Todd Lyons told Senator Slotkin today that there totally isn’t a list of domestic terrorists.

  14. victorious_lobster on

We the people have one too. Trump and his lunatic admin is at the top of it.

So we should be able to see this list with the Freedom of Information right? Right?
The Republican party and thier donors are traitors to the United States of America

Remember when Mitch McConnell insisted it was political persecution that the FBI under Obama had a domestic terror list? Remember when that list included actual separatists and armed militias? Remember when Obama backed down?

    I do.
