Some aspiring linguistic phd could pull all maxwellhill’s historical commentary and run an analysis and comparison to messages written contemporaneously by Maxwell from the files.

Doesnt really confirm anything. All this means is that some random person emailed the FBI and made the claim that Maxwell was /maxwellhill. But i assume it would be trivial for the FBI to confirm this, especially if they took possession of her computers, laptop, phone etc upon her arrest. So the FBI must know. That would be true confirmation.
