Ich habe ein Tool entwickelt, das Bewertungen von IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes (Kritiker + Publikum), Metacritic, Letterboxd, AlloCiné und Douban abruft. Ich habe jede Quelle in über 8.000 Filmen auf die gleiche Skala von 0 bis 100 normalisiert. Ergebnis: Kritiker sind wählerisch (duh)

Critics are not picky, but audiences just think that 7=average

OP try to add Filmweb.pl, its one of biggest movie db in europe with thousands of users.
Thats the problem with the 1-10 scale. Most people dont place an average movie on 5.
5 is already bad.
Same with food, you wouldnt go to a restaurant that only has 3 stars
I usually rely on metacritic. not sure what that says about me.
I’d be curious to see the list of films with 90+ scores on each platform, ie the overlap and outliers
