      It just shows how thoroughly compromised she is.

      She’s the Attorney General, speaking to the House Judiciary Committee in her capacity as head of the Justice Department about one of the most high-profile questions of justice in our lifetimes, and she’s not even trying to take it seriously. She pivots to the whiny “why aren’t you giving Trump credit” shit this administration does so often, and on the stock market of all topics, which has literally nothing to do with her office, the hearing, or the question she was asked.

      But she knows her job in this administration is actually to defend Trump’s ego and reputation, so that’s what she’s doing. This is not a person that can be trusted to get justice for the American people.

      Watching this- that speaker is giving her a pass at any time he can to not answer questions. We get nowhere in these hearings when the questions we need and deserve answers to get passed over in lieu of more praise for the administration.

      Her answers can pretty much be translated as „I worship Trump and money, fuck the victims.“

      On the contrary, this was her preparation. She came prepared to change the subject to the stock market. She has a binder full of accusations to level at Democrats, and she had her indignant outrage dialed to 11 at being questioned.

      What this means is that she is aware that there is no defense. She is aware that Trump participated. And she is aware that if she answers any question about the investigation, she will be in legal jeopardy.

      This is what it is to prepare to lie by omission directly to Congress.

      She committed perjury.
