  1. Pam Bondi needs to know what they saw so she can prepare an argument protecting her boss from the truth. Trump’s name is in the full Epstein Files 1,000,000 times. A lot of the pages are probably of crimes Trump committed. Therefore, Bondi wants to know what evidence people have so she can fight it.

For reference, 1,000,000 is the number of words in the entire Harry Potter series. That is how often Trump is mentioned in the Epstein Files.

  2. > “It is totally inappropriate and against the separations of powers for the DOJ to surveil us as we search the Epstein files,” Jayapal wrote.

They are probably only so casual about it because they are spying on them at home too.

Of course she did, as the Queen of lies she needed to be ready to craft a lie to distract and deflect questions from harming her supreme leader the fascist orange. There is a special place in hell for bondi and for this admin, they are the definition of criminal

Always makes you feel safe and secure when the Attorney General of the United States has no sense of confidentiality.

  5. from the party of „irs scandal“ and senators should sue for millions if their phone was tapped.

    >Photos of a black binder that Bondi had at the hearing showed the words “Jayapal Pramila Search History” and a list of documents whose numbers coincide with the number of Epstein files.

“It is totally inappropriate and against the separations of powers for the DOJ to surveil us as we search the Epstein files,” Jayapal wrote.

    >“Bondi showed up today with a burn book that held a printed search history of exactly what emails I searched,” the congresswoman said.

    >“That is outrageous and I intend to pursue this and stop this spying on members.”

Jayapal later spoke with MS Now, and raised the possibility that the DOJ had given access to the full Epstein files to members of Congress to gather information about possible lines of questioning at the hearing.

    >“Is this is [the] whole reason they opened [the files] up to us two days early? So they could essentially surveil members to see what we were gonna ask her about?” Jayapal told the news outlet.

    >Jayapal earlier during Wednesday’s hearing had a contentious exchange with Bondi after asking survivors of Epstein’s abuse — who were in the room — to stand and indicate if they had been unable to meet with the DOJ.

    >Multiple women stood and raised their hands.

    >“I’m not gonna get in the gutter for her theatrics,” Bondi said, when Jayapal asked her to apologize to the victims for the DOJ’s failure to fully redact their names when the files were released to the public.

Bondi *never looked at the victims.*

    >Attorney General Pam Bondi falsely claimed in her sworn testimony to Congress Wednesday that Jeffrey Epstein’s partner in child sex trafficking was not transferred to a “lower-level” prison, even though her Justice Department moved Ghislaine Maxwell to a “Club Fed”-type facility last summer.

  7. One of the biggest scandals in American history playing out right now. An entire political party knowingly protecting a POTUS who brutally raped, and trafficked children. As well as having some of those same children murdered. These people are monsters.

  8. Wait didn’t republicans throw an absolute fit the the DoJ has subpoenaed their phone records after January 6th… you know what never mind it’s old news that republicans are hypocrites. I just wish from now on anytime a republican cries victim when ever a democrat steps out of line the dementia party would just tell the. To fuck off.

  9. She did this as a threat display.
She knows, as anyone who testifies to a committee, that someone would capture the headings and the titles of her documents.
This is a threat to those who are questioning the DOJs behavior as well as her disregard for SOP.

    She is transmitting this:

“You want oversight, well we are already watching you. Do you feel threatened?”

  10. She cares more about senators looking at files than Presidents looking at little girls.

She was waiting for him to reference something he shouldnt, so she could reprimand him or press criminal charges. Idk if he did or not, and honestly shell probably go for charges regardless because why not at this point

She isnt here to help victims. Or catch pedos. Shes here to attack political enemies and protect her interests. Protect trump. And that includes trying to threaten anyone that asks too pointed a question

We need to start treating her like an active conspirator at this point.

Possibly the most unprofessional congressional hearing in history. I honestly have no idea how even people who agree with this administration come away feeling anything but disgust at her performance. Also Jim Jordan is a fucking clown.

  13. ilikestatic on

She wanted to make sure she didn’t say anything Jayapal would already know was false.

  14. > “I’m not gonna get in the gutter for her theatrics,” Bondi said

Lady, you work for donald fucking trump. Your whole career is gutter politics.

So she had a cheat sheet and still couldn’t effectively evade/deflect.

  16. Where are all the Qanon supporters and J6 patriots that wanted to overthrow a corrupt government?

  17. Traditional-Job-411 on

She rightly points out that it could have been an attempt to figure out what was going to be asked in the hearing in advance. But then Bondi blew it an had absolutely zero ability to use that knowledge.

This is so deeply concerning and I no longer know what to do with myself

  19. And right on queue Mike Johnson says he’s not going to comment on something he doesnt know about.

America’s 3rd in line is always the last person to watch news… He never measures up to the expectation we SHOULD have done this position.

  20. threeoldbeigecamaros on

    > “I haven’t seen or heard anything about that, but that would be inappropriate if it happened,” Johnson said.

    Par for the course

  21. She knew they’d photograph this, it was an intentional “leak.” An intimidation tactic I assume? A very weak one. We’re dealing with idiots here. Very dangerous idiots.

  22. GoodShitBrain on

Keep applying the pressure. It’s working. Even maga is sick of this shit. Do not let up.

  23. editorreilly on

Even though Bondi spied on them to anticipate the questions being asked she still fucked it up and looked wildly unprepared.

  24. Let’s not touch on the morals of this implication. The trump admin left that train at the station long ago. But Isn’t this espionage? Isn’t this treason? Isn’t this impeachable? Shouldn’t she be walked out in cuffs? You know, „Lock her up!“?

  25. OlorinRidesAgain on

She can tell you what Trump ate for dinner without needing any search history or papers. She tasted it this morning
