    1. Representative Jason Crow:

      > “If these fuckers think that they’re going to intimidate us and threaten and bully me into silence, and they’re going to go after political opponents and get us to back down, they have another thing coming.”

    2. They should be able to sue for $5B for the hit on their reputation and its potential negative impact on their careers.

Or maybe $10 billion, why not?

Good, maybe now they’ll get to the same place the rest of us have been for more than a year and learn how to make a fucking fist.

    4. Man, maybe I am crazy, but I could have swore that prior to this administration I had four-straight-years of listening to MAGA lose their shit over the weaponization of the DOJ because they investigated Trump for classified docs in his fuckin‘ bathroom. The same classified docs that he *checks notes* didn’t have, then were planted, then weren’t planted but he could declassify them with his mind, then… whatever.

Democrats are pissed? Can’t wait to read their upcoming „Dear Mr President, please don’t be mean to us anymore, pretty please“ letter.

      s/ but not really

Also, #MarkKellyForPresident, as I’ve been saying since 2019

Grand jury just rebuffed the DOJ’s bid to indict six Democratic lawmakers over a video urging troops to reject unlawful orders and Democrats are furious, calling it political intimidation by the Trump DOJ.

    7. I honestly wonder if these fat cats can even process the reality that the pedo diaper pants President is using fascism to try to do a coup.

    8. Trump is the one that’s guilty of sedition, treason, insurrection, violating his oath of office his administration including hegsad and the DOJ are also guilty of sedition and other crimes. It would be great if they were held accountable but don’t hold your breath treasonous trump will pardon everyone commenting crimes for him and pardon himself

    9. …this DOJ is going to be pissed, when we indict them…the only way back is with accountability, vote for representation that understands that…

Honestly, this is a good argument for the “dumbest move” an administration and the Department of Justice have ever made.
At least yet….yet…from what I’ve seen.

This is the definition of weaponizing government, what the GOP projected on to Democrats.

This headlines makes it seem like democrats are upset at being held accountable.

No they are pissed at the DOJ making up charges to silence them.

    13. That’s great and all, but i don’t need Democrats to be pissed, i need voters to be pissed. We need to vote people out.

Conversely, when Republicans feel targeted by the government, they try to slip on million dollar settlements into funding bills

It really is remarkable how every suit that doesn’t end up at the supreme court is decisively lost by the admin. Guess he couldn’t puppet enough judges.

Good, that’s a perfectly normal thing to feel. But now the question becomes, what are you going to do about it? and will you continue to work with and cater to the interests of the Republican party that sent the DOJ to try and indict you or will you grow a spine and fight back?

Keep in mind that the first option will likely result in this or something like this happening again.

My advice to Democrats is to issue a strongly worded letter, and then issue a „statement“

That should take care of it!!

enough to do anything or just enough to continue to tweet about how pissed they are?
