    This was uplifting:

    >“Because NGA’s mission is to represent all 55 governors, the Association is no longer serving as the facilitator for that event, and it is no longer included in our official program,” Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) wrote in a Monday letter announcing plans to forgo the meeting, according to The Associated Press.

    >“We cannot allow one divisive action to achieve its goal of dividing us,” he wrote. “The solution is not to respond in kind, but to rise above and to remain focused on our shared duty to the people we serve. America’s governors have always been models of pragmatic leadership, and that example is most important when Washington grows distracted by politics.”

Good for them – a few are noticing that trump’s numbers are in the toilet, so they feel safe enough in a group to sort of sidestep his tribal politics. Baby steps . . .

  3. I heard from one source that F*Face only wanted White Republicans at the meeting. Did anyone else hear that?

  4. To be clear: The meeting is still happening between Trump and GOP Governors. The NGA is simply.no longer hosting and endorsing the meeting as its purpose is to have a bipartisan series of meetings.

he wants them all in a room to make sure they stay in line and help him with the epstein file, dude is so fucked now, republicans know the only way to keep their jobs, is to turn on their pedo boss

They don’t want to have to explain why they spent so much time with a pedophile world-domination fetishist.

I’m actually very impressed with this move. Good for the Republican Governors for standing up for what is right!!

  8. Because the hard truth is the Democrat governors are the important ones. That’s not political it’s just a fact

Levitt’s answers when a reporter dares ask a question are usually just “He’s the president, and therefore he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, wherever he wants, and fuck you for asking. Nerd.”

  10. Ahh the cockroaches are scurrying away from the Cheeto meal now that it’s gotten a bunch of Epstein germs all over it eh?

Was this the meeting last year where he was trying to bully the blue state governors about ICE and at some point the (I think) Maine gov said something along the lines of „see you in court“? He really does have thin skin.

Why not just have a Governors meeting and tell Pedo POTUS and his minion to F off?

  13. Well, crap!

Hasn’t 47 defunded lots of projects, federally-funded, in a lot of blue states?

Why should D govenors pay for the the opporunity to:

    – be insulted?

-probablly be charged by 47 for their lunches?

  14. Glad some of our leaders are starting to make gestures against the president who blatantly doesn’t care about 50% of the citizens of this country. Couldn’t be a more clear example.
