    1. Unfortunately, it can be both.

      – If Ukraine reinforces with troops from other regions, then the „bluff“ worked. Russia attacks elsewhere

      – If Ukraine doesn’t reinforce, then the Sumy buildup becomes an offensive.

      It’s certainly not an offensive. If it’s a feint, it’s folly because the cost is far far greater for the Russians.

      What it is, is sheer desperation. Putin demands all his commanders Attack! Attack! Attack!

      To keep their mad leader happy, his commanders sends streams of lemmings to their deaths for pointless battles – knowing the battles have no point. This is WORSE than the worst First World War generals. At least the WWI generals thought they might achieve a strategic breakthrough. The Russians generals in Sumy know they won’t.
