Political master-stroke by PM Turnbull. The Labor opposition blocked a plebiscite by the electoral commission, so he did a survey by the breareu of statistics, and now we have marriage equality

    2. The Labor Party opposed the postal survey because they felt it was an unnecessary and costly delay tactic, urging the Liberal-National coalition to just put marriage equality to a vote in parliament.

Interesting to see so much polarization among Sydney neighbourhoods. No surprise about outback Queensland.

“Queers for Palestine” should see this and hope they understand how the people they protest for are the biggest haters against them in their country.

    4. As someone who used to live in the deep purple part for a long time, we received dozens of anti gay marriage flyers in our mailbox. From all kinds of organisations with all kinds of backgrounds, mostly religious (any religion you can think of). It was so disheartening to see.

Interestingly many people who I have spoken too said that they did not receive anything in their mail or something to vote in this survey. Seems like it’s was done weirdly as many people either did not realise or they did not receive anything.
