      That looks delicious, in Chile we have something similar we called it „calzones rotos“ something like „ripped panties“ in English

      All names are fine, faworki, chrust, chruściki. Looks delicious, but the cooking oil may be too cold, they are a little bit flat.

      Jedno i to samo. Chruściki to nazwa ludowa, często spotykana na wsiach i małych miastach z racji na ich kruchość.

      Faworki wywodzą się z francuskiego of faveur co odznacza wstążkę. Faworki przyjęły się od cukierników.

      Both terms are correct, but in general, chrusty/chruściki is a more regional term (for example, in małopolska region)

      They are also supposed to be as thin as possible, and fat faworki drive me conpletely nuts

      Chruściki – but im from Detroit area Polish so thats what its called there. My mom’s cousin calls them favorki and she’s from siedlisk koło Tarnów.

      My grandma made me these in my childhood.
      In Ukrainian recipe book she have they were named „Вергуны Звiчайнi“
      This is one of the best things I eat ever
