Hallo zusammen,
Ich habe mich gefragt, ob es illegal ist, auf der I-8 von Kalotina (Grenze zu Serbien) nach Sofia zu radeln. Ich verstehe, dass es einige Sicherheitsbedenken gibt, da es sich um eine schnelle Schnellstraße handelt. Allerdings bin ich ein erfahrener Tourenradfahrer und gebe mein Bestes, um mich aus der Gefahrenzone herauszuhalten. Bei solchen Aktivitäten trage ich immer Warnkleidung.
Ich hoffe, dass jemand einige Informationen dazu/zu den praktischen Aspekten des Abschlusses dieser Reise hat.
Ist es grundsätzlich illegal? Wird die bulgarische Polizei damit ein Problem haben?

The „Europe“ Motorway (part of the E80 corridor) is illegal to cyclists!! It is so so so dangerous … don’t do it at any cost. Plus – there are multiple cameras and the police will stop you anyway. Isn’t there a Strava option?
Part of the road has already been upgraded to highway which is illegal for bicycles to ride on.
What you can do is go through Godech. It’s a bit longer, but it’s not a highway.
