You just know this was the intellectual equivalent of explaining Wi-Fi to a raccoon. Carney an actual economist, an actual adult patiently walking a man with the attention span of an immature goldfish through the concept of a bridge that already exists. Somewhere between “it connects two places” and “no, Canada didn’t steal it,” you can almost hear Carney’s soul quietly leaving his body.
