      This is what happens when a movement confuses volume with growth.

      Trump didn’t lose white voters because they suddenly changed their morals. He lost them because exhaustion beats outrage over time. Constant crisis stops feeling urgent and starts feeling annoying.

      Same cycle every populist movement hits eventually.

      I hate these Newsweek  „approval numbers went up/down“ slop articles they crap out like 3 times a week…but underwater approval with the white demographic would be significant 

      Doesnt necessarily mean it translates to votes in favor of the opposition though…but it makes me laugh that he had an approval rating over 50% the first month just for it to tank so fast because we all knew the shit show this would end up being

      Trump is not delivering on the economy.

      And as was the case in Birmingham with MLK, the violence perpetrated by the most aggressive members of the Klan was so extreme that it turned off even white segregationists who wanted to maintain their dominance but were unwilling to cause bloodshed. The extremists harmed their own cause and paved the way for a victory for civil rights.

      It’s too late. He has three years left in office. We’ll be picking over the carcass of this great country at that point. Just ten years ago we had Obama. Somehow that was too much for some people.

      If the Cost of Living came down, if the price of housing came down, if groceries came down, if wages went up, his voters would be holding parades for this guy.

      As it is, nobody can defend the guy, whether it’s because of ICE or because of the state of the economy for the working class.

      Let me guess, the rating dropped to somewhere between 36-37%? I bet they wait for it to go up 1%, and then the moment it drops by one percent they post the same article again. That base is historically stuck at a hard 33-36% just like Hitlers’ base and you can be sure it’ll never go lower than that. If you guys want to sway voters you need to figure something else out than this nonsense news cycle
