  1. I know a woman is legit missing, but are they walking us through Bitcoin ransom? Gentle walk through for us all to see, then that’s the way now..? How is there communication and no arrests? You have the “discombobulator” and clearly can track anyone? How does the payment work, untraceable and to hotmail.com ? 🤦‍♂️

So Bitcoin is God sent to criminals because they can hide their identity?

I am not even sure if her mother is still alive.

I was wondering about how this ransom would be paid.

Missing for over a week more than likely means this story does not have a happy ending.

Have they even confirmed the people demanding the ransom is actually the kidnapper?

They’re asking for 6 million USD . That’s a big red flag those ransom notes are from scammers. People in the United States wouldn’t ask for US dollars.

I saw on the local nyc news it could be cartel since where they live. So ridiculous, a cartel loses that amount of money any given hour.

Idiots demanding this ransom think Bitcoin will help obfuscate their identity. They might as well had asked for a cashier’s check with “Ransom Money” written on the memo line.

This must be the promised use case and future for bitcoin everyone keeps talking about.

Knew from the beginning these are scammers. Probably in NK or some country that can easily get away with scamming with btc.

Another question, how come they never mentioned if the mom had her medication with her? You know the medication she absolutely needs to live? Why haven’t they mentioned that AT ALL.

  10. Why is everyone saying how stupid the kidnappers are for asking for Bitcoin because it is easily traced, when public entities, old people, etc. are scammed daily for Bitcoin with no hope of recovery?

I wonder if someone close to her has a serious drug addiction or gambling addiction….

Hopping in to input my theory that the kids killed her and this is a cover up

Ransomers don’t realize bitcoin transactions are not actually anonymous?
