Because, as 70 some odd years of experience has made abundantly clear, hydrogen is a pain in the ass to work with, and the benefits are outweighed by the disadvantages. But, on the bright side, this will help keep Boeing’s pockets lined as they juice their cost plus contract into eternity 🤗

From what I understand, nobody has ever shaken the curse of the leaking hydrogen.

Because congress mandated they use obsolete Shuttle tech in the build of this turd.
