Where was the concern before everything blow up? What a bunch of untouchable people just talking from their 30 bedrooms mansion with zero actions.

    2. Independent-Tax-3699 on

Deeply concerned it may further damage their terrible reputation

    3. ResponsiblePatient72 on

2 people ‚concerned‘ there is a pedo ring involving the most powerful people in the world and there is no accountability for any of it.

I’ve heard more controversial opinions in my life.

    4. Feeling_Ranger3732 on

Deeply concerned that Granny covered up his uncles appalling behaviour?

    5. Hufflepuffins on

„Our thoughts remain with the victims“ is very swiftly becoming PR shorthand for „don’t look at us, please“

    6. Agreeable_Falcon1044 on

Is this news? I am also deeply concerned that the fbi have proof of wide scale market manipulation, scandal, espionage and grooming by a known sex offender involving plenty of key figures…and are only revealing it once forced.

Whether or not these people are concerned about their uncle and his well publicised trips to paedo island isn’t here nor there. I would be more concerned why Granny blew 10 million of my inheritance trying to hush it up

I’m concerned that not enough heads are rolling over this.

It does prove unanimously that power in our species is much easier to obtain if you have absolutely no moral compass. Which explains the silence AND wickedness that’s currently mustering “deep concern” in elites after 8 years of it being knowledge to them.

“Deeply concerned” sounds a bit too light, given the gravity of what Andrew was involved in?

Don’t tell me that all the Royal Family didn’t know. We know Queen Elizabeth II used our money to buy his victims’ silence, and Charles clearly knew enough to strip the titles as soon as he was in power. What else is this family hiding from us?

Just saying they’re “deeply concerned” doesn’t cut the mustard. If they actually cared, they would be publicly calling for Andrew to testify under oath for the US congress, and to face criminal investigations over his crimes.

    9. Personal_Lab_484 on

They could release so much more.

“We are disgusted by Andrew, believe his victims and will cooperate however we can to see him brought to justice. We disavow him”

      Not hard?

    10. SnooMacarons4225 on

More like they are concerned that their reputation will be damaged by association so are trying to put some distance between them and Andrew after the horse has bolted..

    11. ‚Deeply concerned‘ is the British version of american ‚thoughts and prayers.‘ Empty words. You hear it from every politician every day on any subject.

Can we take the training wheels off this country and be a republic yet?

Edit: For all those negative responses. Why not advocate for positive change? A system of hereditary rule structurally prevents progress.

    13. I would have assumed so.

It would be bigger news if they said, „Nah, doesn’t bother us.“

    14. orangecloud_0 on

Can we finally talk about Farage and his damn party being in the files? Like actually in the files?

    15. Wow… the toxicity in these comments is on another level. Would people rather they said they weren’t concerned?

They’re damned if they say something, and damned if they don’t.

EDIT: Lots of commenters with numbers in their name. The bots are out in force.

    16. “Thoughts are with the victims”

Perhaps use those same thinking skills to help get some justice for the victims?

    17. wowitsreallymem on

Concerned now because people are again seriously discussing what the actual point of the monarchy is.

    18. Deeply concerned this might affect their cushy lifestyle and handouts from the tax payer

    19. InSilenceLikeLasagna on

Just another meaningless PR statement of fencesitting. Fuck them

    20. Willywonka5725 on

Thank God they’re deeply concerned, now move along whilst they visit a supermarket that’s celebrating being open for a 100 years.

    21. SHITBLAST3000 on

      “Deeply concerned”

What they are saying is, “please don’t look in to us and abolish us, we like taking your money”

    22. They’re deeply concerned about the future of the Royal family. They don’t give a shit about the victims or anything else as long as they can keep their undeserved wealth and privilege

    23. Prisoner3000 on

Jimmy Savile, The Rev Peter Ball, Laurens van der Post, Louis Mountbatten, Jeffrey Epstein. To consort and befriend one notorious rapist might be considered careless, but the royals have form on this

    24. Longjumping_Sun_5766 on

Like fuck are they „deep concerned about the victims“.

They are only concerned about it bringing more bad press against the royal family.

    25. Sudden_Fact_733 on

Deeply concerned it’ll end their generational gravy train, they don’t care about anything else.

    26. Disastrous-Store-799 on

Yet they said they are still very close and respect Andrew and threw Harry and Meghan under the bus

    27. Good job they’ve speaking out so publicly for ages then isn’t it….oh wait what?

    28. Deeply concerned that their lucrative gig is about to fall apart, more likely.

    29. Subject-Addendum-199 on

The people defending the royal family STILL is one of the big reasons why this country is fucked, of course they all knew about it, and imagine the things we don’t know, the elites who run these country’s can do what they want and half the public will still, for some reason defend them.

    30. Skroderider_800 on

Would ye not just get rid of them already? It’s like, what’s there to be proud of or save. At least with Elizabeth II, there was some decorum and a good mascot.

It doesn’t have to be your cultural identity

    31. They should be deeply concerned that this will end the monarchy and they will have to get real jobs.

    32. MarginSqeaky on

Don’t forget Charlie was friends with Saville and that paedo priest.
The whole family are a bunch of nonce lovers.

    33. It’s such a non comment though! Why all the fuss? It’s the baaaaare minimum and has only been put out due to the files being linked to their family.

I’m assuming similar was said when Jimmy Saville’s crimes were finally publicised and realising old Charlie boy had been his best friend and confidant for years.

Or same when the potential future FIL of Diana was outed as sexual predator.

Such a non story. Yet sexual deviance and peadophiles tend to just linger around that family without any proper recourse as it would be ‘improper’ of the Royal Family to comment or actually act on such revelations.

    34. Aside from all the other nonsense. Do you not think this is one of the reasons that Megan and Harry wanted out. I wouldn’t want my kids anywhere near Andrew

    35. Crazy how they would ride in cars with him AFTER he paid Virginia 12 Million pounds. They aren’t concerned. They know that they publicly cozied with him and treated Harry and Meghan like they were the ones who were accused of sleeping with underage girls.

Damage is done and none of these people are good people.

    36. Low_Presentation8149 on

Seriously who cares. King charles knew which is why he kicked his brother out. Stain on the eskutcheon. The lot of them

    37. What the actual fuck does remain focused on the victims mean? As it could mean using all your power to help them get resolution everywhere.. but no, basically thoughts and prayers.

    38. Deeply concerned we’ve have enough of lawless nonce monrachs and are heading for a republic
