Trump has never been accused of being smart. However, isn’t giving her the pardon the last thing he want to do as it would remove self incriminate protection from maxwell?
On the one hand, pardoning her will be bad for Trump’s PR (yes, you may laugh hysterically). However, on the other hand, he can’t just throw her under the bus, because she knows too much. He’s caught between a rock and… well, not a hard place. More like a floppy little mushroom.
Who cares? they have the files and there are tons and tons of witnesses that came forward. If the Democrats actually wanted to do something about it, they have all of the information they need. And they have for years and years.
edit. To clarify, who cares about her not cooperating. If she were to get a pardon that would be really gross.

A Trump pardon is literally the only chance she has. Everyone knows Trump is corrupt. No one else in their right mind would ever let her out of prison.

Even if she talks, she’s an unreliable witness so unless she can provide proof to back up her claims then anything she says is worthless.

Just ask her *ALL* the awkward questions, and let her plead the Fifth as much as she wants…we will draw our own conclusions.

I somewhat doubt she’s even campaigning for one. Trump likely already agreed to one (it will come his last day in office). This is Maxwell sticking to the terms of the agreement.
I hate to break it to everyone, but she is going to be pardoned.
