      Community members are often kept in the dark because of these kind of DoD contracts. They buy them before citizens can react to having it in their community.

      It’s terrible enough that they can expand and contract the number of detainees they can hold through contracts with for profit prisons like GEO Group. But when they’re building camps and buying up 250,000 sf warehouses, that screams that this is for the long haul will go on far longer than it takes to deport “the worst of the worst.” Which groups will follow immigrants with felony convictions? Misdemeanors? Moving violations? Parking tickets? Those with active visas, asylum applications and temporary protected status? Remember that they are pulling people from the line on the day they’re to be sworn as citizens. After that, naturalized citizens? How about first generation born here to one or both immigrant parents? The Germany AfD political party which JD Vance has met with has as it’s platform the removal of such persons. MAGA notables have coined the phrase Heritage Americans to describe those with 3, 4 or 5 generations of history here as the true American people.

      So DHS siphons off a Navy contract and expands to use the funds for themselves and in a few months people will be bitching at the Pentagon for failing their own audits.

      There’s a reason Trump wants state rosters of voters. It’s so he can round up anyone that might vote against him, or organize against him.

      Compare the total sq footage of all of these “detention camps” vs the number of undocumented immigrants they are apprehending. It doesn’t make any damn sense.

      Between the payouts to Donny and his crime family, ICE, the war department and concentration camps, someone please do a spread sheet on where USA money is going. What a shame if we had to spend it on infrastructure, health and education like other countries. /s

      RFK Jr said he was going to put every American on antidepressants and ADHD meds etc in „reeducation camps without social media.“ We know DOGE took our voter information already and they will come to every home because Stephen Miller & Russell Vought want it.       I remember remembering stumbling upon a conspiracy theory forum in the late 90’s called abovetopsecret and people were posting how the US government wanted to take away every Americans rights and build concentration camps. The plan was to disappear everyone who didn’t comply. I thought everyone on that site was insane for thinking that but here we are. Wild
