Not sure why the article mentioned three „foreign“ men. These mopeds are ridden by many Japanese men and women too. I’m seeing so many of them recently. They really should be raiding the stores selling them and allowing them to be ridden out without a license.

These mopeds are dangerous because some are riding on sidewalk and bicycle lanes with speed over 30 kph. Furthermore, some aren’t stopping a traffic lights. They’re motorized vehicles so should be ridden on car lanes and obey traffic rules.
