    1. Supposedly WWI artillery on average caused one casualty for every 550 shells fired at about £0.60/shell (1917 cost) which adds to about £29,700 ($40,440) per casualty in today’s value.

      Now a $2,000 fibre optic fpv drone and warhead is getting probably close to a 1:1 casualty ratio.

      I know my math isn’t perfect, but… dang.
