Beschreibung: Nach dem überwältigenden Sieg der LDP bei den gestrigen Parlamentswahlen zeigt eine im Rahmen einer Sonderwahl durchgeführte TV-Umfrage die Realität der öffentlichen Stimmung in Japan.

Auf die Frage, wie Premierminister Sanae Takaichi mit den Beziehungen zu China umgehen solle:

• 24 % (Blau): Sollte verbessert werden.

• 76 % (Rot): Kein Verbesserungsbedarf.

    I’d like to know what these people who don’t think Japan needs better relations with China think the next several decades are going to look like? I’m genuinely curious. Seems like at this point to not see the writing on the wall that China is going to be the big player on the world stage for the next several decades is an indication that you’ve been kicked in the head by a horse, and if you haven’t been kicked in the head by a horse it should be obvious that it is way better for Japan in the long term to build a good relationship with such a gigantic and powerful neighbor.
