The Kachin Independence Army is not only one of the veteran ethnic rebel forces (formed in the 1960s), but they also have a more than self-sufficient arms industry. The AK-style rifles in the video are [Type 56 clones ](https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/07/24/the-kachin-kalashnikov-in-myanmar/)made by them. They also make clones of the [Type 81 rifles ](https://militarymatters.online/military-history/kachin-independence-army/)and [American M320 grenade launchers](https://www.reddit.com/r/ForgottenWeapons/comments/1ltszuc/more_photos_of_the_kachin_independence_armymade/). The Type 80 PKMs are likely smuggled either from Chinese black markets or other groups.
The Galil-looking rifle is the MA1 junta clone that was captured by the Kachins.
The language of the song in most of the video is also in Kachin (Jingpo) language. A lot of Kachin live in India and China.
