    1. For me personally, seeing a Wings fortune cookie after a nice Chinese meal was like family tradition, we would always discuss and laugh about what little message we got then buy a loto ticket after with the numbers. I literally have a Wings message in my phone case as a nice momento right now.

Sad to see it’s closing, they were always my favorite. Tastes much better than other brands too.

    2. Honestly, lots of these places are starting to close down as people entire retirement.

I wonder if they ran out of those „You will find happiness with a new love“ cookies..

I’m sad to see something I’ve known my whole life disappear. Fortune cookies are just one of those sweet fun things.

For those curious, they are closing down since the current owners are getting old and their children don’t want to inherit the family business. Had to scroll pretty far down the article to find that.

So it’s just the wild west of fortunes now? I have lived my life on a Wing and a prayer. I’m barely halfway there.
