Let’s see the final results. But even with 7 seats that would be a superb performance for Team Mirai a party created only … 9 months ago. Well done. Hopefully they will have more seats than Sanseito. Not surprising as it is the only party offering new ideas

I want to say this to people in this sub: can we please stop massively overestimating the influence of Sanseitō already? They only hold around 2–3% of the seats, so their impact on the government is basically zero, and they don’t have anything close to broad public support in Japan.
Honestly, it feels like some people here are less interested in Sanseitō itself and more interested in using them as an excuse to stir up hate and trash Japanese society for fun.
