      Remember that they aren’t leaving because of principles. Their party is going to get slaughtered in the midterms so why put up with that? I am sure all of these former senators and congressmen have found nice cushy lobbiest jobs for themselves.

      They’ll all go into lucrative jobs in the private sector and will be excused for enabling what’s happening. All of us will likely end up working for or buying things from a company they are a board member of. There will be no consequences and they know it.

      America has to fight hard to replace as many of them as possible with sensible Democrats that will fight for you. It feels like given recent state election outcomes from deep red areas turning blue, that the tide might be turning …

      They’re not leaving because they suddenly sprouted a conscience, they’re leaving because they’re cowards who don’t want to face the consequences of their actions. If they had one atom of integrity in their useless skin suits, they would impeach and remove these traitors. Instead they’re cashing in their chips and running away.
