So, it’s the 8th anniversary of the Falcon Heavy launch. I watched it with my dad. It was the last thing we ever did together. While we were waiting, he said, “Watch, I’ll bet you a dollar they don’t make it to Mars before 2025, and I’ll bet you another it won’t be until at least 2035.”

I thought it was interesting that Elon was talking 2026 first mission and human mission 2028 and essentially even his most hardened fan boys didnt believe him.
I also think its funny that the original Elon plan was just to land a small grow house on Mars and since that was difficult he decided to start SpaceX… and 24 years later there is still no credible plan for SpaceX to launch a Mars mission.

I’ve watched a bunch of videos about Mars and it had me doubting if I will ever see a man land on Mars (I’m in my 30’s).
I knew it was hard, but I underestimated just how hard. Getting there, landing, and getting back home seems almost impossible.

TLDR: Even Aside from the Moon, things aren’t going well at all. The context here is that Space X is merging from Grok, which is a huge financial disaster.
Even worse, they are shifting resources away from Mars so they can generate more content for Grok, which includes non consensual sexual imagery of children.
This is a shocking and outrageous situation.
