      I am amused after all these days of hearing about Trump was „too scared“ to attend major sporting events for his inevitable booing that he sent his co-stooge in his stead to take it. Damn.

      People didn’t come to cheer for politicians. They came to cheer for athletes who trained their entire lives. This feels incredibly obvious.

      People were cheering for the athletes, but the moment Vance was front and centre the boos began.

      No they weren’t, it was definitely mixed.

      The Italian crowd is based af: booed Israel, cheered Ukraine, it was pretty split with the Americans (seemed like the cheers and boos/whistles were battling each other), and then undeniable boos when Vance showed up.
