While we’re on the subject, you know, surrendering works for war criminals too. I hear the best plea deals are possible when you’re one of the early ones. Don’t end up like Himmler in the Second World War, who couldn’t get anyone to accept his attempts to bargain for a surrender because by the time he got around to it, he wasn’t valuable enough anymore.
