After years of public sector being the biggest employer now we are losing the manufacturing jobs – from the article. Thats was a terrible January month
Not a lot of context on whether it’s temporary workers returning home, more people retiring than entering the workforce, or people opting for more schooling expecting a recession, though it does mention an increase in not looking for work.
I said back in November when the report said we added 18000 jobs that this was just seasonal retail hiring for the holidays. I used to work retail, its crazy how many extra people businesses take on for that season. I’d like to see the data to see how many of these positions are just seasonal jobs who had the contact end.
