I think Groening is a druid reading in the future through visions.

Many directors are that’s why they have this ability to make „predictive programming“ which I prefer to just call predictive at this point.

I used to think otherwise that they just knew a plan that was written decades ago, but accuracy of the events, of the world context even the face of certain characters, those things are just impossible to plan and execute from that far.

I made a post about George Martin and Game of Thrones you can find on my profile, it’s not as obvious as Groening because it’s hidden behind a medieval fantasy veil, but once you get it it becomes clear as crystal and you get that many events written are still to come and give us a roadmap of the future.
