It doesn’t sound profitable, but considering the planes are old, it might be cheaper than scrapping them.

It’s a good deal. Ukraine is leading in drone and anti drone technology at the moment same as Russia

We have domestic designs and a decently run company producing them (WB Electronics). It’s a poisoned deal, we’ll be undercutting our own design and manufacturing with a cheap, low-quality foreign product while also paying for it in military equipment.
Ukraine has mastered the Soviet art of diplomacy and international trade. They want us to give them steel so that in return we’ll give them sulphur.

As long as it’s profittable for us, then sure, why not?

no info about $$$
but their drones are battle tested and reliable
much better than project Eagle overpriced tech
could be solid deal
they should also talk about their systems for observing and commanding the battlefield
that shit is legite – units can check most recent sitrep from a phone or tablet , everything is linked and basically live feed , again i don’t know what PL is using for commanding but i heard it still ancient systems aka maps on the table lol

A bad deal for Ukraine. Thousands of the best drones in the world, proven on the battlefield, in exchange for a few dozen old, almost irrelevant aircraft that they want to retire anyway. These aren’t even F-16s. Apparently Ukraine needs them to defend cities against missiles

Why hasn’t the government filled the 2 squadron hole in the airforce yet???
We have 47 F-16s and that’s it basically atm.
Woeful.
