This guy hosts a show for RT. And why would you go into a country and the first thing you do is bribe a police captain to get “the secret police files”? Smells like bullshit.

What? This guy openly admits bribing a police officer successfully? It’s illegal and should be prosecuted! Is this normal in Cyprus?

Also he said the boyfriend lives in London, wtf would the Cypriot police know about him if he doesn’t even live there? (Someone correct me if I’m wrong I just don’t think the police of each country is informed of every criminal activity their citizens do when they’re abroad unless it’s maybe murder or there’s an active warrant for arrest and said person is fleeing)

Everybody here is talking about how illegal it is to bribe a government employee in Cyprus. Still, crowd, I am telling you, from the reality on the ground, foreigners think that not bribing a Cypriot government employee is a crime.
And we all know how Cyprus works, unfortunately. Let’s not kid ourselves.
For an ex-CIA officer, getting information from a Cypriot government official is like buying ice from a kiosk.
