      When Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that 55,000 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed in action, he underscored the brutal arithmetic of a war in which Russia is advancing slowly while paying an extraordinary price in lives.

      The Ukrainian president said roughly 9,000 had died in battle in the past year, translating to around 750 a month.

      Ukrainian officials say Russian losses are far higher. Kyiv claimed that 35,000 Russian soldiers were killed last month alone, suggesting that 47 of Vladimir Putin’s men died for every Ukrainian soldier who lost his life.

      Mr Zelensky said Kyiv was “perfectly aware of the price that every metre and every kilometre of this land costs the Russian army”.

      He added: “They don’t count the people who die. We are forced to. To conquer eastern Ukraine, it would cost them 800,000 more corpses, the corpses of their soldiers. It will take them at least two years, with very slow progress. In my opinion, they won’t last that long.”

      Well, fake it till you make it, I guess…

      One thing Russia has in spades are disposable human meat shields, and Putin can always draft more since brainwashed russians are never going to rebel against him regardless of how many of their friends and family die in a senseless war.

      There isn’t a calculation where Ukraine wins the war by personnel attrition.

      Wish we could arm the exploited areas of Russia where they’re getting some of them so they can rebel.

      I’m amazed there’s no underground group in Belarus committing significant sabotage, that asshole in charge wasn’t rightfully elected. Real Leaders are in exhile or prison.

      What proportion of these are Africans or other foreigners? Yakuts? Dagestanis? Siberians?

      Ok easier question: what proportion of these are people Russia is very slightly unhappy of losing? Because that’s the issue, out of 140 millions, they kinda care about what? 10 millions? Less?

      The numbers are very close or accurate. ruzzians are emptying their jails, and saving money. They are emptying their poorest regions, saving „welfare“ money. They are removing „unemployment“ and saving money. And ruzzkies are now seeing it. More and more „soldiers of fortune“ are sent to the front, more africans, more south americans, and from asia, are lured with big promises of big money. But we all know what happens to them. Soon that will stop too. Info are spread to the continents as we speak. If putler wanna keep up the war, he need to take ppl from the middle class…. and that will not end well. When „olga“ need the income from her husband, to stroll the streets with her girlfriends, and that income stops, we will see a uprising. Not for ukraine, but for the fur-coats, Mercedes and the fine drinks. No ruzzkie in the middle class are ready to stand in line for welfare.
