      Suspended with pay for several years before it even reaches trial. The frustrating thing is that if they’re found guilty, they get to keep all that money, even though they should be forced to reimburse it.

      CBC is saying 9 Toronto cops have been arrested. And the Toronto Sun is saying could be as much as 12 cops. And there’s no way it’s only this much. I bet it goes much deeper. This is one of the craziest things I’ve seen coming out of this city, and also entirely unsurprising.
