Simple: Don’t use Netflix. If it bothers you so much, you can unsubscribe and look for a different platform.

    2. Josh “See Him Run” Hawley, Missouri’s favorite hypocrite. One of their favorite hypocrites, anyway.

    3. I don’t understand why they want big government to police societal content. Seems easy enough and very capitalist to simply not watch if one dislikes something. They should also control content for their own kids.

Why do their fee fees have an impact on what’s available to me?

      >“I don’t want my kids being pushed an agenda about their sexuality or gender identity when I have not had the opportunity first to discuss it with them and to form them in that,” he said. “And frankly, on behalf of parents around the country, it offends me that Netflix is pushing this content at parents in what seems to be a very coordinated, thought-through, planned-out agenda in a way that frankly, I think, undermines parents.”

Sir, Netflix is a subscription service. No one is forcing you or your children (god help them) to watch *checks notes* trans people existing a la *A Clockwork Orange* eye clamps.

    5. >He claimed “almost half” of Netflix content for young children “promotes a transgender ideology agenda,” a phrase he most likely used to mean the inclusion of a trans character or the mention of being trans. Nevertheless, Sarandos said he didn’t “have any idea where that number would come from” and called the statistic “inaccurate.”

      >Hawley did not offer a source for his data, but he may be referring to a report from the anti-LGBTQ+ group Concerned Women for America (CWA) that claimed “41% of G-rated series, and 41% of TV-Y7-rated series on Netflix contain LGBTQ+ content.” Even if that were true (though it should be questioned based on the clear bias of the organization), the phrase LGBTQ+ implies representation of a wide variety of identities, not specifically trans characters.

Missouri never disappoints in their ability to prove they can’t break a three digit IQ.

He seems to have an obsessive fixation on other peoples‘ lives and genitalia…

Does he not have enough work to keep him busy?

Sign up for Pureflix instead. Nobody is making you buy Netflix.

    8. Kinda sounds like this is a personal issue. The algorithm recommends based on viewing habits, so….

Religious content masquerading as children’s programming doesn’t align with my values. It’s a good thing I have a remote and I just don’t let my kids watch it. That *and* Caillou but that’s a whole other discussion.

See, freedom of choice is great ain’t it? Nifty. I dont like it, I don’t have to watch. The End.

His account profile has trans suggestions everywhere. That’s what happens on Netflix when you search for something repeatedly. Now he’s outraged for something he probably did to himself.

    12. Hey, numbnuts, Netflix is a subscription service. If you don’t like what they are showing, cancel your subscription and watch something else.

    13. I demand the universe remove the GOP because they don’t align with my values.

Hey, just a reminder, this dumb fuck piece of shit invoked a mob on congress and bravely ran away when they showed up! Josh Hawley is a coward.

The same guy who flailed in fear during the “peaceful guided tour” of the capitol?

    16. This is about more than just Netflix. This is about trying to do everything possible to end any existence or visibility of trans people, which is another step towards genocide. They want to declare any trans person existing as „sinful“ and wicked, because they hate the idea of trans people „defying“ their Bible.

    17. Machiavvelli3060 on

Well, I demand we purge our government of pedophiles because I don’t want that lifestyle choice pushed on people against their will.

    18. justbunnies on

Can we remove the Bible from bookstores since it doesn’t align with my beliefs?

    19. This GOP senator doesn’t align with my personal views, therefore he should be removed.

Netflix serves up content based on what you view. I don’t seem to get a lot of trans/gay content offered up (sure gay characters on occasion, but never the theme).

So, If numb nuts here is seeing 50% Gay/Trans content, it says much more about him than it does about Netflix.

    21. Here’s an easy fix – just don’t watch the show you don’t like. Or, just don’t subscribe! Easy!

    22. Here’s the thing Josh, if you don’t like it, maybe don’t search for it, huh? sound like a plan?

„He claimed “almost half” of Netflix content for young children “promotes a transgender ideology agenda,”“

These people live in an alternate universe, formally known as being „batshit insane.“

    25. “He then complained that he and his wife have been forced to pre-screen all children’s Netflix content before allowing their three young children to watch it”—->Am i crazy for thinking you should be doing this anyway?!?!?!

    26. Their goal is trans genocide. Really need people to take this fucking serious.

    27. DarthHiccups on

There’s a button for unsubscribing, perhaps try that.

Oh, and I demand „Fox News“ report actual news, because it doesn’t align with my personal values.

Gonna be waiting a while, I’m sure.

    28. The Ballad of Brave Senator Hawley

Bravely bold Josh Hawley ran forth from Missouri,
He was not afraid to pose, O brave Josh Hawley!

He was not at all afraid to raise a fist on cue,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Josh Hawley!

He boldly charged the cameras with a warrior’s glare, While safely far from danger, brave Josh Hawley!

He talked of strength and valor and the coming of a fight, Then promptly fled the scene, brave Josh Hawley!

      He was not in the least bit scared to tweet a righteous stand, Or to lecture folks on courage from a well-protected land;

He thundered about tradition and the downfall of the state, Then sprinted down the hallway at a truly record rate!

When trouble actually showed up and chaos filled the hall, Sir Hawley chose a tactical retreat — the bravest move of all!

His principles stood firm (somewhere several miles behind). As he ran for safety, leaving valor hard to find.

Brave, brave, brave, brave Josh Hawley!

      Brave Josh Hawley!
      (He bravely ran away.)
