I’m surprised he didn’t come up with a slogan this time. „Embark with Mark“ or something equally stupid

Is the strategy to continue to lose? The guy lost his seat. Conservative leadership is a lost cause if they think this guy has any chance of winning.

Will never win. He has an annoying voice only made worse by repetitive empty slogans which plays a large role in elections.

Leadership requires an x factor. He doesnt have it. Hes a dweeb, like millhouse on the Simpsons.

Compare his lack of charisma to someone like Mamdani in NYC who is very charming.

It’s this type of stuff that turns people off the Conservatives. You’re not a serious party if all you want to do is play games for clicks. This isn’t the time for this not with both domestic and geopolitical issues hurting the country. It’s why Carney is seen as a preferred PM and not PP.

„(During that campaign, the Star reported on an internal Conservative document that showed, for example, how the party used committees in the last Parliament to maximize social media exposure and advance partisan narratives.)“

At least based on the article they’re trying to cooperate with the government but let’s see how long that lasts.

    4. When someone shows you who they are, believe them. PP already showed us who he is, and even his own constituents said no thanks.

This sub is basically just people posting paywalled articles that no one reads because they can’t. Then the comments are just people reacting to the headline.

I feel like after the whole Harper speech the Conservatives are going to try to focus on the “National Unity” angle because it really doesn’t mean anything. But what it allows them to do is paint the Liberals as the ones trying to destroy national unity because of the sentiment behind Alberta’s and Quebec’s separatist movements are very much “Anti-Liberal”. That only they can bring these groups back into the fold with conservative policies.

They have to spell out the stakes to him. He really doesn’t know how to pivot, does he?

Honestly; this doesn’t really make me like him or the party more.

In the article he talks about stuff like it not being time for credit taking as if he’s done anything to take credit for; and he’s got a member going to DC acting like it’s to help the Prime Minister while actively disparaging the people working on the trade deals.

It’s better than the old slogan tactics and pretending to want to work together is better than not but it just comes off so thinly veiled.

Sounds like Jivani is going to go share a couch with Vance soon. Either that or something worse if he refuses to say who he is meeting.

    11. Holy this sub is toxic. Our parties trying to work together is a good thing people. Personal growth is also a thing. Take this as a positive step towards our parliament working together to advance Canadian interests.

Some comments on here are unhinged because it’s Pierre.
