Kamala didn’t flip a single county, so there are no D-R-D or R-R-D counties

    3. BohemianMade on

We really need to do something about this. Maybe require people pass an IQ test before being allowed to vote.

    4. Why do we do this to ourselves? People are going to look at this and say, “See how much more red there is than blue?”

    5. This really shows the divide between Urban vs Rural voters in my opinion.

You’ll have pockets of Blue in definitively Red States. Near urban centers.

    6. Going back one more election, we could have counties that went Romney-Clinton-Trump-Trump. If you determine the rate of change in this curve correctly, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

    7. Lankyllama4324 on

The yellow and orange counties are mostly trump winning Hispanic and black voters. Ironic considering how blatantly racist his administration has been.

    8. Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island the only states that are solid Blue

Oklahoma and West Virginia are the only states solid Red

    9. Yellow and purple counties are absolutely insane. They voted D in 2020, saw an insurrection against the person *they voted for* unfold before their very eyes, and thought, “you know what, scratch that, I’m gonna change my vote next time and side with the guy that did this whole violent uprising thing.”

    10. Maps like this are so misleading. Land doesn’t vote – but the MAGAs love it because it feeds their delusion that this country is overwhelmingly conservative.

    11. Of course, most of those RRR counties have populations of approximately 32. There are lots of them, but they are largely irrelevant. And will all die soon to boot.
